My husband has to wear wool socks to work everyday. The very first pair we bought at a fine store in Lubbock and paid $22 a pair. Then I found these on Amazon for only $9.99 a pair... hmmmm... it was worth a shot. He actually likes these way better and they wash better as well. The size is KING which is Jos A Banks name for the bigger size. My husband wears a 13 or 14 shoe, so we are always hunting for big socks. These are great and definitely worth the money. He loves the brown and charcoal colors, and we havent tried the rest, but Im sure he would approve if they are all the same quality and fit.

I didnt actually buy these socks because there was no way to select the size. The only "size" shown was simply "over the calf", which to me isnt a size at all -- its a length. Since feet and calves grow to all different lengths and thicknesses, one would have to be pretty foolish to order a sock with no indication of size. Hence only one star and no sale! Better luck next time, Jos A Banks!
