After years of trying every brand of over-the-calf socks sold in department stores, I discovered these offered through Amazon by Jos. A. Bank. They are the most comfortable (in hot and cold weather), longest lasting, and cleanest looking basic solid color socks I have yet to find. They never lose their elasticity and never fall down no matter how long your day. I keep about 8 pairs in rotation 5 days a week and they seem to last at least two years before developing weaknesses and eventually holes in either the toe or heel. Sure, all synthetic socks will last longer, but they tend to look worse and worse as they age and are never even close in comfort, ever. I whole heartedly recommend them both at the regular Jos. A. Bank price and especially at the discounted price through Amazon.com.

These socks wear well with a kilt, keeping the legs warm in snowy conditions.
