I have worn this type of sock for many years. They are soft and comforable,cling neatly to the foot and ankle and look great as a dress sock. They wears like iron. I have never found a better sock. Amazon price is good as the only other place to get them is upscale pricey stores

I thought I was getting over the calf length but they are shorter. I dont think the description was very accurate. The quality is good but at that length they dont stay up as well. In addition, the charcoal socks were considerably lighter in color than charcoal.

I always prefer Gold Toe socks for durability, comfort, and quality. These socks are no different. They stay up, dont pill, and look just as good after numerous washings as they do when theyre new.

For those looking for 100% wool, this is not your sock - move on. The product is advertised as a "Wool" dress sock but the wool only makes up a small portion of the material used. This was greatly disappointing to my husband who was advised to use wool because it is breathable and more comfortable.

Given what I paid for these I expected a more substantial sock. The material is so thin that you can see light through them and it doesnt need to be a strong light source either. They are "dress socks" but they could stand to use a litte more material in their construction.

These are great dress socks. But they are described as "over the calf". They are not. They are mid-calf. So if that makes a difference to you (it does to me) dont buy them. Otherwise, these dress wool socks are great! Also, I like purchasing from Amazon. Good company.

Well, I live in Texas...i cant ski very often...however, I slipped on this pair of socks and got a running start at a freshly waxed wood floor and relived the 69 winter olymipcs! It was great...oh, and theyre really soft and fuzzy and feel really good on my feet, too.

I ha ve been wearing the windsor wool socks for many years. My feet perspire more than the average bear, and because of the wool blend, my toesiesare always warm and dry. They also last for years.

Amazon notes that these socks are "only made from the finest yarns." They mean it, too! These socks keep your feet warm with their wool fiber; and they are very well made and last forever. I especially like the way that they are reinforced at the heel and toe for lots and lots of wear. Oh sure, these socks may cost a bit more--but you get so much use out of them that these socks inevitably pay for themselves.
The socks also fit any shoe size between 7 and 12; therefore it is almost one size fits all. A big plus! I also like that the toe area is literally made from gold colored fibers. Great!
I would not dry these socks at high temperatures. This could result in the sock becoming too loose on your foot. Eventually they will "bunch up" when you wear them and thats very uncomfortable. Dry these fine socks at a lower temperature.
Overall, you cant go wrong buying these socks. They keep your feet extra warm during colder weather. They are manufactured so well that you definitely get your moneys worth. A good deal!
