I bought several pair of these -- unfortunately if the buyer is any shorter than 7 feet tall and has a foot any smaller than a 16, you will find them too long in both dimensions.
They are pretty flimsy.

After months of searching for wool dress socks, over the calf as I cant stand for my socks falling down, I found this site and what looked to be the exact socks I had needed to replace. The socks I currently own were EXCELLENT! They held their shape, not too thick, wool, held their color and lasted nearly 2 years of everyday use. The new socks looked to be the exact same, however, after the first wash I found they were not. They shrank quite a bit to where it is some work to now get them on, however it is only the brown ones and not the black or blue (yes, strange). I have taken to letting them air dry now so as to not have them shrink any further. This was NOT a problem with my previous socks. They are warm however, and comfortable. They are starting to pill up on the heels however which is a little disconcerting. Overall, they are just barely a 4 star item. The price can not be beat which is exactly why I made the purchase!!
