Each new arrivals drop reflects the rhythm of our cooperative production cycle. We typically release a major collection in March (representing winter knit work completed during the Andean dry season) and a second in September (lighter pieces and accessories produced during the summer months). Smaller mid-season drops happen when individual pieces complete their production runs — these can include unusual one-off colors, prototype variations of bestseller patterns, and small special projects from individual artisans.
What ‘new’ actually means
New for us means new to our inventory, not necessarily a brand-new design. Many of our most popular silhouettes have been refined over multiple seasons by the same workshop — what makes a fresh arrival is often a new colorway, a slightly modified neckline, or a fiber-grade upgrade rather than a wholly novel piece. We mention these refinements in product descriptions because they often matter to repeat customers who want to know whether a returning style differs from the version they own.
Reserving from new arrivals
If a new arrival sells out before you can purchase, contact us directly — we maintain a wait-list and can sometimes secure additional units from the originating workshop within 4-6 weeks. Wait-list reservations require no payment until your piece arrives, and we honor original launch pricing even if subsequent restocks have higher costs. This system works best for our standard-pattern bestsellers; one-of-a-kind experimental pieces typically cannot be reproduced exactly and we’ll be straightforward about which category any specific piece falls into.
